Mr. Timalsina is a business development professional with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Trichandra Campus, Tribhuwan University. He is highly skilled in Staff Development, Business Strategy, Teaching, Higher Education, and Career Counseling. He is a very creative, generous, diplomatic, motivated, and dynamic personality.
He founded Kangaroo Education Foundation (KEF) in 2007. KEF is an innovative and specialist educational consultancy service provider which specializes in educational counseling, recruitment, and enrollment at overseas universities and colleges for more than 15 years. The company has got 10 offices in Nepal & Australia and is one of the prominent study abroad counseling institutions with more than 100 staff members working full time. Kangaroo Education Foundation recruits students to the most popular study destinations like Australia, USA, New Zealand, UK, and Canada.
Mr. Timalsina served as the Secretary-General for Educational Consultancy Association of Nepal (ECAN) for 4 consecutive terms from 2009 to 2016. He was elected the 1st Vice President of ECAN for 2018/19 where he successfully led the ‘Business Promotions & Training Department’. He also served as a Coordination Committee Member of Nepal Government, Ministry of Education’s Educational Counseling and Verification Section for 2 years. Apart from that, he is also a mentor for wannabe Counselors and serves as one of the trainers of TITI (Training Institute for Technical Instruction).
He is the current President of the Association of Australian Education Representatives in Nepal (AAERI Nepal).
Apart from his business ventures, he is interested in creative writing. Poetry, Song, and Stories are his favorite genre for reading and writing both. He also enjoys reading biographies and autobiographies of famous personalities.
